Dr. Timothy W. Anderson

Timothy W. Anderson, DDS Dr. Anderson grew up in suburban Chicago and Milwaukee, attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and received his D.D.S. from Marquette University in 1982. He began practice in Fort Collins in association with the late A.D.Peck. His professional memberships include The American Dental Association, The Colorado Dental Association, The Colorado Prosthodontic Society, and is a past president of the Larimer County Dental Society.

Dr. Anderson has published articles on practice management and high-tech dentistry. He is a consultant to dental manufacturers as well as numerous practicing dentists. His practice of General Dentistry has been enhanced by additional study in Endodontics (root canal therapy), Implant Dentistry, Esthetic Crown and Bridge Restoration, Cosmetic Fillings, and Full and Partial Dentures.

His wife and sons and their interests keep him busy for much of his free time, but some is still left for fishing (fly and every other kind), skiing, sailing, camping, and bird hunting. Bicycle racing with Team Rio Grande, and physical fitness is his current passion, though he admits starting racing at age 45 is a real uphill struggle. Scuba diving has become an Anderson family sport, and his office staff has experienced this with him on a recent team building trip to Cozumel, along with his family. His teenage interest in electronics (building his rock band's amplifiers and speakers) has been rekindled by the explosion of computers and other high tech tools of the profession. He once founded a small company (VFS Systems) to design, manufacture, and sell specialty audio-video products to dentists. Because of his efforts, TVs on the ceiling of dental treatment rooms is now common.
